Compared with SCB epoxy casting dry-type transformer, SGB type open ventilation dry-type transformer has the following characteristics:
1. Class H insulation: The insulation and heat resistance level of SGB type open ventilation dry-type transformer can reach H level or higher C level. Epoxy cast dry-type transformer (SCB10/SCB11) is of class F. That is to say, SGB dry- type transformer has longer service life than SCB dry-type transformer at normal working conditions, and has stronger ability to resist destruction and self overrun under limit conditions such as short circuit of output load;
2. Safety: SGB dry-type transformer is the highest safety dry-type transformer. All insulating materials are flame-retardant, self extinguishing and non-toxic, and their combustible materials are less than 10% of the epoxy casting products. There is no toxic smoke generated during long-time combustion at 800 ℃, which overcomes the defect of a large amount of toxic gas produced by the original epoxy casting dry-type transformer (SCB type). SGB dry-type transformer has been widely used in subway, airport, building, residential area, ship, chemical industry, smelting, etc;
3. Reliable: the special coil design, process and material of SGB dry-type transformer make the product have excellent three proofing performance (moisture-proof, mildew proof, salt fog proof), more able to withstand thermal shock, never crack, basically no partial discharge (epoxy casting dry-type transformer has a small amount of partial discharge);
4. Environmental protection: The new SGB dry-type transformer can be decomposed and recycled after reaching the end of its life, which overcomes the defect that epoxy resin cast transformers are solidified and fused into a whole due to the resin and glass filaments, which can not decompose after the life period and pollute the environment;

Excellent overload capacity: SGB dry-type transformer adopts new structure, new materials, new technology, good heat dissipation conditions, long thermal life, strong overload capacity, and can work in an IP23 (water spray) environment under 120% overload It can operate safely and reliably for a long time. No forced air cooling is required, and long-term full-load operation is still possible (all manufacturers do not recommend long-term full-load operation for the SCB dry-type transformer , and forced air cooling is required to ensure relative overload operation under intelligent temperature control conditions, which can operate at a relative humidity of 95% Normal operation in the environment);

Smaller size and lighter weight: The SGB dry-type transformer uses NOMEX paper as the main insulation material, and will be used as the hybrid insulation of the hottest part of the transformer, so that the product is compared with the epoxy casting transformer of the same capacity.
